To the Emmaus Borough Council... the residents of Emmaus signing this petition request that you reconsider your decision regarding the closing our Community Pool. The residents can choose not to swim but don't restrict the ones who want to and are able to. *In addition, admission has been allowed for mon residents at higher cost. If over crowding is a concern due to area pool closings, PLEASE consider the option of opening to the Emmaus residents only for this year.

The momentum behind this push proves that the borough council cannot keep ignoring us. They think they can hide behind excuses while our community suffers, but they are clearly feeling the heat now.

Sunlight and chlorine!! AlsoWhat are the damages to the pool needed to be fixed? We have yet to hear this response.
What are kids suppose to do when its hot and humid? Chlorine in the pool should kill any virus if there is one. Having the pools closed is asking for trouble bc kids will become mischievous and destructive around town. This will make matter worse for residents. Im sure you don't want this happening, so please reconsider opening the pools.
My husband and I have been swimming at Emmaus Community Park every summer for more than 59 years. It's an important part of our summer and has become important for improving our fitness. Please open.
Would love to see the pool open safely. This is something the town enjoys every summer. Aqua Zumba gives me so much joy.
I agree open up the pool. Hire a cleaner for bathrooms n shower areas or better yet make people bring there own disinfectants to keep place clean. Plain and simple
