Sign if you believe that the St Andrews Highlands neighborhood pool should be open this summer.

Updates

June 6, 2020

Formal letters are currently being drafted for the homeowner association board to demand an explanation regarding the delayed maintenance schedule. I will request a seat at the upcoming budget committee meeting to present these signatures as evidence of the community demand for a functional facility.

June 6, 2020

The growth in support has reached a level where the homeowners association board can no longer ignore this request. I am currently drafting a formal letter to the board president to request an urgent meeting regarding the pool operations.

Possible simple solution: Lock key fobs, prepare a Release for those homeowners who want to use the pool to sign releasing HOA from any liability, activate those persons key fobs.

Don't believe HOA is taking into account all other HOA pools in the area that are opening within 1 mile . Restaurants, youth sports, etc are opening too. There has to be another option.

Please let us be adults and decide for ourselves if we want to use the pool. If not opened all homeowners should receive a partial refund of their yearly dues as some of it is the cost of operating the pool.

Open the pool!!! We need it! This is a “happy” place for many families in our neighborhood during the summer and a much looked forward to time of year for many. Each homeowner can choose to use the pool or not. Post suggested guidelines. Prepare a waiver. Keep key FOBS deactivated for those who prefer not to use it.

We are more than capable of deciding where we spend our time. I have stage IV cancer and I'm likely one of those who the board's decision was meant to protect, but I'm not worried about the pool being open and can police myself. Our kids need an escape, so let it be our choice.

We would like to see it open. Chairs spread out in pairs, 6 feet apart. Also, would agree with limiting total number of people at once. If we could have cleaning supplies in the clubhouse (hand sanitizer and clorox wipes), I’m willing to help collect donations for those supplies.

Yes for opening up the pool!

If the pool doesn’t open I expect a substantial refund of HOA fees and a drastic DECREASE for next year’s fees. This is absurd.
