The Rush Aquatic Center was forced to close recently due to financial losses. My family, friends, and I think this pool is a truly valuable facility for our community. We swam there recreationally and for exercise, took swimming lessons there, and saw our neighbors participate on the swim team at the Rush Aquatic Center.
This petition is to gather support for the Rush Aquatic Center and to show our city's government the need for a pool in our community. With financial support of our city, the Aquatic Center could reopen and be successful.

Please, please help this happen. The owners of Rush were so good to accommodate our Elementary in our annual pool party fund raiser. We have enjoyed the pool as a place to spend time as a family and gain exercise. Syracuse needs this facility.
There are so many citizens of Syracuse--mostly children--the enjoy and benefit from the pool, the classes, and the camadrie we should do all we can to keep it. Instead of spending new money on a new park.
Part of this aqua center is a lap pool for exercise and for our swim teams. It's much more than a family fun center and is important for this community and our school. Thank you for this petition.
My kids enjoy the pool every summer, i do think that this will be a valuable place for the city of syracuse and cheaper in the long run as the population continues to grow and new pool will have to be built in the near future.
I'd like my 3 grand nieces and all kids in Syracuse to be able to easily learn how to swim. And for them to have the opportunity to be on the swim team. What is needed to make this happen?
Our family loved that pool and it was the only one on our community. Bring it back!!

We had swim passes to the pool. We are very sad it is closed. Our children loved it, and took swim lessons from the awesome staff. We also loved how clean the facility was compared to other pools in the surrounding area.
