We are petitioning to open the Hazlewood community swimming pool to residents. Governor Abbott has moved us into stage 3 which opens public pools at 50% capacity however our pool remains closed with very little communication. 50% capacity allows 24 people at the pool at a single time which is more than doable at this point and to remain closed is completely unnecessary. Families who choose to go should be allowed to do so. If two thirds majority vote on opening the pool then the HOA has to open it. One signature per household and home owners only please (sorry renters - please get landlords to sign).

When water parks and other pools are open there is no reason for it to be closed. Please open the pool.
Open the pool please. Children need the pool and as homeowners we pay for the pool and have the right to use it.

The pool should be open. People should have the right to choose if they would like to swim or not. Also, it’s chlorinated, correct?

We will most likely not use it if it does open up until we feel comfortable which may not be this summer, but feel like it should be available to those that are ready to use it.
