I am petitioning for a rent cap in North Dakota. Due to the oil work in North Dakota, rent prices have skyrocketed. Nobody (not even the oilfield workers) should be forced to pay this kind of rent for a simple apartment or house. It is now common in cities of North Dakota, like Dickinson & Williston, to see a two bedroom apartment go for well over $1500.00. Unfortunately, native North Dakotans are being pushed out of their own homes and forced to leave the state.

This petition is specifically asking the State of North Dakota to consider a rent cap so the residents of North Dakota can continue to live in our wonderful state.
