Regarding Proposed October 1, 2026 Rent Increases

We, the undersigned residents of City Place Apartments, respectfully request that management provide a written explanation and supporting documentation regarding the rent increases scheduled to take effect October 1, 2026.

Specifically, residents request disclosure of the “Escalation Clause” referenced in management’s notice, identification of the affordable-housing program and regulations governing our units, the applicable maximum rent and utility allowance calculations, and documentation showing how each proposed rent amount was determined.

Because many residents are currently within active lease terms, we further request that the proposed increases be paused until management provides the requested documentation and residents have a reasonable opportunity to review it.

By signing below, residents are requesting clarification and review of the proposed increases. Signing this petition does not constitute a refusal to pay rent or a violation of any resident’s lease.
