Ray is not the sort of man to take the decision he made lightly, this was clearly a serious safety incident which he correctly responded to and for that he should be commended not sacked. This situation is Ludicrous!!!

Ray is an experienced control room controller It seems very short sighted to part If he believed that the situation he was placed in put the safety of railway in question and he had every right to manage the situation in the way he's experience and training led him to handle the situation

Summarily dismissed for acting in the safest way possible? Disgraceful. KAD do nothing but pay lip service to safety, the very moment that safety might cost them some money they're not interested in it. Mr. Shackleton should be reinstated with immediate effect and KAD held to account by rail regulatory bodies. COME ON, RMT!

Outrageous behaviour. Targeted since the Darren Arnold issue. The wrong person has been dismissed for doing what he believed to be the safest way to protect those of us out on the network.
