Brothers, as all of us have experienced first-hand, Ray Rogers is a good cook, but an even better person who is in need of our support.
Ray has been associated with the house since 2000, and during that time has proven his devotion to the Oaks. Ray embodies what it means to be a Phi Gam through extreme empathy which might not be extremely visible from the outside. However, those of us who know him, know that he is extremely selfless. He truly cares about each and everybody not only currently in the house, but graduate brothers as well. When four of us needed a place to spend Thanksgiving, without hesitation, Ray made plans for us to join his family for dinner. He was there for me, like he would all of you. He needs our help now.
He cares about all of us, so let’s show him that we care back.

The leadership is still ignoring our demands but they cannot hide from the facts about Ray. I am currently holding them accountable behind closed doors and they know this treatment of a loyal brother is completely unacceptable.

The administration thought they could quietly push Ray out but the momentum behind this petition proves they were dead wrong. The sheer force of our support is making it impossible for them to ignore us while they try to erase someone who has given everything to this house.

Ray II is part of the legacy of the Oaks and Kappa Nu. More importantly, he was an amazing mentor, friend and played a major role in helping me adjust to life at Cornell.
I don't know all of the facts but Ray was always a good cook when I was around and kept the place clean. If folks are concerned about him I'm sure he could complete some additional training, but if the undergrads are happy with him, I'd think you'd try to figure out a way to keep him instead of let him go. It's a tough job and Ray works very hard at it.
Ray II is an honorary brother and we've always had his back. I have no idea why anyone would be thinking of replacing him after all he's done and after all he's been through.
Ray is our cook and seeing as how no one currently opposing him lives in the house or eats his food, his employment should be our decision. Please redirect such fervent interests in house improvements toward improvements that members of the house would actually like to see happen.
Ray is a pillar of the house. His dedication and loyalty is unparalleled, and we respect him for that. Fiji fought with him through cancer and we'll fight for him now too.
As loyal as they come. Challenge him to do better, and his loyalty alone will drive him to exceed expectations.
Ray is an essential part of a lot of people's FIJI experience

Ray Rogers is not just a cook. Ray Rogers is a staple and rock of the Kappa Nu Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta. Throughout my college years, Ray was not only there to put food on our plates, but also to help us become better men. He truly cared about us and who we turned into. By trying to oust him from the house you might as well be trying to get rid of Gamma as the mascot. I stand with Ray 100%.
