We will fight for our school.
We are deeply disappointed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s decision not to approve our charter’s appeal, effective Jan 15, 2014. We remain dedicated to putting kids first, and we will continue to remain by our students’ and staff’s side to the very end.
That is why we will appeal the Charter Appeal Board’s decision to keep our school open. During this appeals process, we believe students deserve a consistent and safe educational environment, without disruption. Students and their families should not be ripped from a stable school environment with little to no time to prepare for a smooth transition as we appeal to remain open.

Surpassing this milestone feels like a heavy weight has been slightly lifted from my shoulders. The fight ahead is long and exhausting but seeing so many of you behind us proves we are not fighting alone.

Keep fighting! Kids need stability not government bureaucracy messing with their education.
These kids deserve better than this. The school has been a total lifeline for our family and moving them now is just setting them up to fail.
Total incompetence by the department. Why punish the students for this?
My son has finally been doing so well here. Do not take this away from these kids in the middle of the school year. Its just not right.
Ridiculous decision. Keep New Hope open!!

Please let them stay. The teachers there actually care about the students and it shows in my daughters grades.
