The Petros community is already poverty stricken and closing the school would be detrimental. There are already kids that rely on school food for their daily meals and there are people living in tents, the answer is more help- not less.
I grew up and went to this school . My kids amd grandson for alittle while itayne be little but she's fierce to be reckon with..turned out some of the best dr ,lawyers, nurses, professionals. Around ..sometimes its the personal details that are the greatest impacts. .our kids are worth it !!!
This school is all about their kids, and they truly know each and every students story. You do not get that anywhere else. The student to ratio is perfect for the students and they get the one on one they need to succeed.
This School is so much more than a school. It’s a safe place for kids it’s a family. So much more than that.
Political move with no concern what so ever for a small community with a excellent school & teachers that are the best in the county . Don’t say cost cause that’s a lie. Will cost you way more to build on to other schools that are already overcrowded or build new schools .
I attended PJ, k-8th. And all 3 of my sons did also. I am so sad this is happening. I hope they can figure out a different solution and find a way to keep PJ open.

This school is vital to the community. Keeping this school will also prevent the other schools from being over crowed and the children from PJ won't have to spend hours on the bus for transportation to the Coalfiled and Wartburg schools.
