Reports of drug dealing , overcrowding , a rat invested yard and generally not adding value to our community.
As a newly formed Civic Association known as Wynberg East Civic Association "WECA" we are “taking back our hood “and give notice that we will with the support of the residents approach Prasa to allow the house to be used as a facility for the community.

The drug dealing and filth at the Mitcham Road property continue to poison our neighborhood while PRASA stays silent. We are currently preparing a formal demand to force them to answer for this rot. Your accounts of what happens at that house are the ammunition we need to reclaim our streets.

The massive surge in support proves the neighborhood is finished with the filth and lawlessness PRASA allows to fester on Mitcham Road. PRASA needs to stop ignoring us because this momentum shows they can no longer hide behind their bureaucracy while our community suffers.

For years this house has been the pivotal point of all the drug activities in Wynberg! #Taking Back Wynberg
Use it as a base of operations for the neighbourhood watch and the Wynberg civic association.
This pose as a huge risk for anyone that uses that subway. Not to mention the amount of crime including drugs that occurs there every single day.
That house has been a sorry site for years and nothing has been done about it. It can be turned into centre for the youth.
Totally in support of the proposal for the PRASA house to become a facility that will benefit the Community, Thanks - AK Adams (No.8 Roy's Mansions, Byrnes Avenue, Wynberg)!
This needs to stop. Our children are being destroyed because of drugs. We do not want these people in our communities. Please remove them
