I am writing with reference to planning application 2013/92747. I wish to raise an objection on the grounds that the change of usage of this building would not be in keeping with the locality.

This building in this location is unsuitable for an education centre. The premise is situated on a busy road junction. The premises do not have enough off road parking to cater for what they wish to do. The premises in question are in the heart of a residential area also and cannot cope with the increase in traffic and "comings and goings" that this potential centre might bring!

The proposed alteration of the Jolly Sailor building to one of an Education Centre will inevitably increase traffic stopping and starting at this busy junction. The three roads converge at as a fork and it is already a difficult road to negotiate for traffic and pedestrians. It is my opinion that if this proposal is approved the roads will become more congested, itand will be more hazardous for pedestrians. Further to which the area of Dalton and Moldgreen already has a number of schools all performing at a good standard praised by Ofsted, as such further education facilities can be incorporated in the schools. I would prefer to see the building used in a way which is inclusive of the whole community not just a selected few invited for tuition.

There is no parking outside or near to this building and it is on a busy road. The DRAM Centre and library are situated just down the road from here which has a large car park with free parking. Surely it would make more sence to use this community building if another education centre is needed in this area!

Too near to a busy junction Got to think about the children crossing going to and from school.

Horrendous junction due to dangerous parking opposite junction at takeaway and adjoining road outside shop...four junctions on a bend very dangerous and no place for any form of child based centre
