It would be a real shame to lose the local that was once so busy and popular but the only real way to save it is to give it your business and buy drinks !

Love visiting this pub when we come home for visits. Plenty of other houses that could be renovated

The Maynard is part of the history of Carlin how. My grandad and father used to come in this pub, I had my 30th in here. It is the only pub in the village and liked by many. I also learned to pull my first pint in here. Be such a loss to Carlin how as so many residents and others have so many memories of the pub through out the years and some of the punters have shared their stories.

I would loose my job if the pub closes, it would be sad to see it go as it's the only pub in the village.

The other two pubs you have to be a member for and one being a working men's club so if this closes other people who aren't members will have to go out the village for a pint!
