Petition Against the Proposed Development at Long Sutton Butterfly and Wildlife Park
We, the below signed, petition South Holland District Council to refuse the application for the proposed development at the Butterfly and Wildlike Park Long Sutton (Planning Application Reference H11-0398-12).
We object on the grounds of the added congestion and danger it will bring to the already dangerous and congested Roman Bank and Little London.
We also object on the grounds of the Localism Act - specifically the Community Right to Challenge and Neighbourhood Planning.

I have been hearing from so many of you who travel down Roman Bank daily and share my fear about the traffic safety here. My inbox is filled with stories from neighbors who are just as worried as I am about how this development will change our community. Please know that I am currently preparing our formal response to the council so they cannot ignore the people living right here.

Seeing this level of support for the park validates everything I have felt while watching these plans unfold. It is clear that our neighbors care just as much about the safety of Roman Bank as I do.

Who actually thought this was a good spot for development?? Its a safety hazard plain and simple.
Keep the park as it is! Long Sutton doesnt need more houses causing accidents on those blind bends.
AGREED. traffic is already backed up for miles every single morning. stop building on every patch of green space we have left.
Ridiculous idea. The roads round here can barely handle the cars we have now. Sort out the existing mess before building more.
Roman Bank is already a nightmare at school run times. Adding more traffic there is just asking for a disaster to happen. Leave it alone.

So many close calls at that junction already. dont make it worse.
