This petition seeks to defeat an attempt by the Pima County Board of Supervisors to rezone a seventy-six acre lot to Rural Crossroads zoning for the expressed purpose of establishing an approximate 200 slip RV resort called Montanas del Sol on N Tula Ln and Picture Rocks Rd.
Such change would significantly threaten the rural lifestyle of hundreds of residents within the thousand foot radius of the project, let alone the thousands of other residents near-by who will also have to endure increased traffic on Picture Rocks road, noise and light pollution, as well as a possible swell in transients that could threaten area safety and security.

This would be disastrous for our area. How could we possibly support the waste management, water use and animal habitat. The amount of traffic coming and going through the park is already bad enough. I live outside the notification zone.
I live on Tula Lane and having a RV Park directly across the street from me could prove disastrous for me. Not only the noise from 24/7 traffic but the light pollution destroying viewing the night sky for 160° from my location and my status as an amateur astronomer!
No to RV park we live one street over from proposed plan. The roads cannot handle the traffic, turning on to Tula from Picture Rocks Rd is already dangerous. Wildlife habitat will be destroyed. This is a quiet peaceful area and we would prefer it to stay that way.
I am against the development of this RV park. It will increase the traffic burden on Picture Rick's, increase the water demand and certainly change the overall structure pertaining to water drainage (washes) that would definitely cause an increase in flooding of the area
I am outside the boundary, but travel Picture Rocks Rd regularly. Tula road is a blind spot to get on P R Rd. Also most of the proposed traffic will have to go West on a road not set up for that. I can foresee accidents happening. I WOULD BE COMPLETELY AGAINST IT.
I’m so sad to see the construction starting in this area recently. That land, the cacti & the views there will be greatly missed.

Within the 1,000 distance. Concerned about many aspects of this development. First of all this would irretrievably alter the rural residential neighborhood, which is a major reason that many folks have located in Picture Rocks
