Isabella Nealy was a healthy 4 MO. Old baby until her death on May 25, 2014. Her mother and a friend were at home at the time of her death and her mother Samantha Cothern was intoxicated the night before and the morning she found her deceased. Ms. Cothern had another child die of SIDS 12 years earlier and the medical examiner has ruled this death undetermined. This petition is to express concern and desire of the Gaston county district attorney office to rienivestigate the cause of death for this infant and exhume her body for a second autopsy to determine a cause of death.
