the university finally agreed to switch to coursework for our final grades. i cant tell you how relieved i am that they listened to us and im so glad we stuck together to get this result.
We as law students feel it is unfair to assess our knowledge over the year based on exams. Having already missed 6 weeks of content due to industrial strike action as well as essentially the rest of the academic year as we only have 9 lectures left in the summer term - an alternative method for assessment should be seriously considered. We propose coursework based assessment as this would ensure a fairer and more realistic assessment of our knowledge over the (interrupted) academic year.
this year has been a total disaster with the strikes and everything else. we simply havent had the teaching hours to sit an exam on this content

I agree, our studies have been greatly affected for exams to take place effectively and fairly. So please consider to change this to courswork based assessment please.

It would really be helpful and fair if our exams were converted to courseworks as a result of the weeks of lectures we have missed die to the strike actions and Corona Virus breakouts
