We are disappointed in the lack of action. As a school that embodies an accepting community where racism and bullying is not tolerated we believe that they should uphold their values and take appropriate action. We ask you all to sign this petition so that proper measures can be taken in order to prevent this from occurring again, as well as make sure that this person does not remain unpunished.

Unfortunately, the handling of this matter by the STS administration does not come as a surprise. I attended STS for a few years but then left due to the favouritism and mis-handling of many incidents that I had witnessed. I could no longer be part of a community so hypocritical and unjust.

As an STS alumnus I am dismayed and repulsed by this incident, although, it is sadly not an isolated one. I hope and demand that the school takes immediate action to support the victim, punish the perpetrator and address the systemic issues at STS which allowed this to happen.

The schools lack of action is even more despicable than what the Grade 9er did. This is the kind of racist bullying that drives kids to 'self harm'. My boy goes this school and for today, I am ashamed of STS.

An apt comparison to be made here is how an African student at STS got suspended for making raps on Soundcloud, and no punishment happens to this white girl with apparent relations to the school board of governors...

The way the school has acted to this is utterly disappointing. The fact that the school is trying to keep this issue hidden and dole out some BS to the students just adds insult to injury. Racism has no place here, and justice should be served regardless of relations and social status.

Quietly trying to bury these issues does just as much harm as performing them in the first place. If the school does not take proper action, they will doubtlessly lose credibility and therefore future patronage from any person not mentally stuck in 1940.

Their are no longer consequences for actions. They must be brought back.
