It has been brought to my attention that there has been a few cases of bullying that have been rather severe... And nothing was done about it by the teacher. A child was beaten so bad his braces got ripped out. Food is being poured down the backs of students. Being verbally harassed is a big thing, and the sad part is these aren't the first times I've heard of a staff member brushing off the situation. I recognize that it's not all staff members that do not take action, but something needs to be done. We need to stand up for our fellow classmates, peers, and Trojans.
Starting Monday I will have a petition that can be signed. If you have been bullied or seen bullying occur and nothing has been done by it, then it would be greatly appreciated that you sign it. Once we have 50 or more signatures it will be taken to a parent council meeting or sent to the board.
