For the safety of our community and the students, teachers and parents at Locust School, we, the undersigned, would like to have a 4 way stop added to the intersection of Tremont Street and Poplar Street.

The city council continues to dodge our emails about the carnage waiting to happen at Tremont and Poplar. I am tired of watching them ignore our kids while they pretend this intersection is safe enough as it is.

The city council cannot ignore the momentum building behind this intersection change any longer. We finally have the attention of the people who forced our neighborhood into this dangerous position, so keep the pressure on until they install that stop sign.

It is a nightmare trying to turn out of Poplar every morning. Needs a stop sign asap.
Cars fly through here like it is a highway. I almost got hit walking my son to school yesterday. Do something before a kid gets hurt!
So many close calls at this intersection. It is just a matter of time until there is a bad accident.
MY KIDS CROSS HERE EVERY DAY. PUT A STOP SIGN UP ALREADY.
About time. That intersection is a complete disaster during drop off.

Took long enough. People drive way too fast near the school.
