Sign the PETITION TO THE CITY OF COOS BAY Request for Traffic Calming & Stop Sign Installation at 4th Street and Hall Avenue To the Public Works Department and City Council of Coos Bay, OR: We, the undersigned residents, property owners, and concerned citizens of Coos Bay, formally petition the city to conduct a traffic safety assessment and install a multi-way stop sign configuration at the intersection of 4th Street and Hall Avenue. Our Concerns Include: • High vehicle speeds and failure to yield, creating severe hazards for vehicles attempting to cross or turn. • Restricted sightlines and blind spots caused by the current intersection geometry and local parking. • Elevated risk to pedestrians, families, and cyclists who cross this intersection daily•reoccurring accidents. By signing below, we urge the City of Coos Bay to take immediate action to calm traffic, establish a clear right-of-way, and protect our neighborhood from preventable collision!

I live at 5th and Hall and this intersection is terrible. There are cars and shrubs that block the view all the time.
This is a BAD intersection. It is quite blind from the Hall side heading West and East. Four-way is desperately needed.
It is a dangerous intersection. So much traffic through there and limited visibility. It needs a 4-way stop sign. Thank you.

Blind spot on Hall turning onto 4th. Traffic on 4th travels faster than posted 25mph limit.
