I’m signing this petition in support of a solution that will address, not increase problems related to parking in Laguna Village. Most would agree that some type of Parking Permit Program has become necessary, however, the current plan, as finalized by the board, is not structured to achieve our goals or to manage homeowners’ interests and privileges fairly – a basic responsibility of an HOA.

With 914 units that make up Laguna Village, approximately 914 parking spaces, and 914 homeowners paying an equal share in HOA dues monthly, an equal distribution of access to shared amenities is also a basic responsibility of an HOA.

With that in mind, my signature below is being provided in support of a program that will:

1.Respect the rights of each owner equitably

2.Protect homeowners from exposure to potential litigation

3.Limit the distribution of permits to an amount that does not exceed the number of parking spaces available

4.Issue ONE permit per household regardless of number of vehicles accumulated by household

In doing so, owners who have been unable to abide by the rules would find reason to take responsibility and action in becoming the solution to the problem we are facing in the community that we share.

One permit per household? No way! Not enough parking on Santa Vittoria! This would cause more hardship then help. Stop trying to hurt 3 and 4 family households please! Our daughters and senior citizens are counting on you!

I gave them a chance. 3x they have rejected my registration because it is a certified copy (ordered thru the very link Reliant provided)They can't be bothered to read 10 seconds into the document to see the address is correct. My patience has expired. Like all poorly executed plans, this is a fail.

First, I want to thank the board and the committee for trying so hard to come up with a good solution to our parking problems. For me, I believe it is best to allow one parking permit for each unit. If a unit wants to purchase ONE 'extra' parking permit, they should have to supply the reason and pay a community/board approved extra annual fee.

I have a 3-bedroom unit with 4 people & 4 cars. Allowing only 1 permit per unit is not feasible and will be a deterrent to future buyers with renters and families. If everyone is fighting for one parking space per unit, then I vote for ASSIGNED parking spaces. Problem solved. Each unit gets one assigned parking spot. It’s fair to everyone and eliminates the problem of people saying there’s nowhere to park. It eliminates the need for parking permits, extra fees, apps, third-party companies, limiting guests, and privacy invasions. Stop saying “Oh this idea won’t work because the 914 spaces aren’t fairly distributed.” Well you can’t have your cake & eat it too. You want one spot per unit? Assign them. Let the rest be first-come first-serve. I’d happily take garage inspections over any permit program.

This program contains numerous violations to Our CCR's and California Law! There is NO data to support any of this!! There has only been "Because we said so" from this Board. Where is the supporting data? Why hasn't this Board corrected the violations to our CCR's and the Laws of California? What is the purpose for having to have all of this Personal Information? I do not support the program as it has been forced upon us!!

We need to have two car parked inside the unit. I agree we do not need to have all the private info for getting a parking ticket. I talked to Reliance and they have several ways to impose parking rules that are not so invasive in our privacy

Common Sense: 1 unit = 1 permit
