This is the road running from the N2, thru to the T-Junction that runs to Leopard Rock or Lake Eland direction.
The road through the Nature Reserve is in a very bad state of repairs. The next big rain has the potential to wash the road away in places. My concern is for all community members and workers who travel on that road, as well as the loss of revenue for the Reserve.
We have created a petition that we are asking you to sign, and provide a comment on how the loss of the road would impact your life.
I will collate all responses, and this will be submitted to KZN Dept of Tourism, Dept of Roads, and the Premier’s Office.

The volume of feedback gathered has crossed a meaningful threshold for our submission. I am finalizing the report to be delivered to the KZN Department of Roads and the Premier's Office. We are moving toward a formal meeting with provincial officials to demand a clear timeline for these repairs.

This Road is a vital link for the local agricultural community to get to key suppliers. Also a primary route connecting the Manyuswa and Ghamalaki communities
This road is of paramount importance to many farmers and workers who depend on this road for fetching supplies and workers to provide an income for their families. Not to mention an access route to enjoy part of our countries beauty as a tourist route.
I used to ride my motorcycle through the Oribi gorge. If someone does not fix the road soon it will become more of a danger, more dangerous compared to riding. Every one knows riding motorcycle is dangerous enough.
I am a new resident on the south coast and regularly host local and overseas visitors for whom the highlight is a visit to the Oribi Gorge. The road through the Gorge is one of the greatest experiences on SA and it is u acceptable that it is in a desperate state of disrepair.
Would be unable to travel between the farm and Paddock, and unable to use the hiking trails in the Gorge. The alternative route is over double the distance and time.
Important road for local tourism
The road from Bhoboyi to Oribi also needs maintenance.

We use this road daily...it's become increasingly dangerous. It won't last another flood. It also brings in revenue to Ezemvelo who is struggling financially.
