As I am sure you are aware, being local to the area, Roosevelt Road (and Pinsley road) is in an appalling state. The road is covered in potholes and has been for some time, the snow we had before Christmas has only made the situation worse. This road is used frequently by parents of children attending the primary school and those visiting the pavilion, sports field and other recreational facilities. Occasionally potholes are individually filled, but this is not an adequate or long-term solution. Simply put, the entire road is in desperate need of resurfacing. The occasional pot hole filling has done nothing to improve the look or functionality of this road.
This appeal has been raised with our local councilors, county councilor and now the highways department, but we need to make some “noise” to increase the importance of this. Please take a few moments to sign the petition and to forward on to anyone else who might sign it.

Appreciate this isn’t a main road but as the petition creator states it is heavily used as an access point for the local school and conmunity facilities, with usage only increasing as more and more houses are built in Hanborough. The county councillor has acknowledged this is the the worst road in his division. Let’s see something done about it - and not repairs that simply don’t last
The road needs a complete resurface just coming round & filling indivisual holes is a waste of TAX payers money
Add some speed humps at the same time to slow certain drivers that leave the pavilion
As a builder I see the shocking effort that goes into filling these pot holes just won’t do, complete resurface needed ASAP
If the council would prefer to pay and keep paying for people's tyres instead, I'm sure that could be arranged.
I am appalled at the state of this road, it is in a dangerous condition. When will something be done to assist the residents and visitors to Roosevelt Rd.
The road is in a shocking state... More holes than a sting vest!!!!... The road in desperate need of resurfacing!!!

I watched a motorbike weave its way along the road, it was very dangerous, it could easily have hit one of the holes, its time something was done to improve the condition of this road.
