We, the undersigned OPPOSE the proposal for a public footpath to be constructed at the junction of Moss Way and Parkview Road, Croxteth, Liverpool 11, directly alongside Croxteth Primary School, leading into Croxteth Park/Dam Wood.
The properties on Moss Way/Parkview Road are in a peaceful area, situated away from public amenities, which is where criminal activity and anti-social behaviour seems to revolve.
The original path on Altcross Road was closed due to the alleged criminal activity experienced by residents on Riviera Drive.
Re-locating the footpath to this site would be transferring the criminal activity onto the doorsteps of those residents in Moss Way/Parkview Road and at the other end of the proposed footpath in Abbeyfield Road/Fir tree Drive etc in Croxteth Park, DESTROYING their peace and quiet and tranquility they currently live in.
This MUST NOT be allowed !

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have joined this effort to protect our neighborhood. We are nearing a significant milestone that will show the decision makers exactly how many of us are worried about these plans. None of this would be possible without the time you have all taken to get involved.

Stupid idea. What makes them think the problems have gone away since the original path was closed. Plus the plans include clearing the trees to make the path more open. Enjoy the woods by destroying them? L120JP
I strongly oppose the opening of the path. My daughter has nearly been run down by gangs riding off road bikes in a careless manner through the park and surrounding areas. We live on the estate and I should not have to live in fear of my daughter being injured!
This would run directly at the back of my house, there is enough criminal activity going on in the area without it being made easier for any undesirables to come and go as they please.
L12 0JP Our garden backs onto Dam Wood. When the original footpath was open we have youths in our garden many times trying to steal our property. This stopped when it was blocked off I am opposing the path way
I ,a resident of the croxteth park estate oppose the proposition of a public foot path because of the criminal activity this may introduce to our piece of tranquility and privacy . Thank you.

L12 0JP. Totally opposed to this ridiculous plan. Build a racetrack for the yobs on trail bikes to race up and down on? An easy escape route for the antisocial to get to and from the CP estate? A rat run for crime? No thanks..
