We, the undersigned oppose Halton Housing Trust's plans to build housing on Festival Way/Birch Road/Boston Avenue in Runcorn, Cheshire.
If these plans go ahead, we, the residents will face:
- Removal of cherished, green and open spaces.
- Removal of tree and plant life.
- Increased risk of flooding due to removal of open land.
- Increased parking issues for residents.
- Increased traffic volume.
- Excessive demand on existing infrastructure (utilities).
- Increased risk of crime, anti-social behaviour and vandalism.
- Increased insurance premiums.
- Reduction of private house value.
Say 'No' to these proposals!

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people care about keeping our local green spaces intact. This momentum belongs entirely to the people who spoke up when it felt like nobody was listening.

The traffic is bad enough already without adding more houses. Nowhere to park as it is. Stop this now.

Runcorn has enough empty houses as it is. Leave the green space alone its the only decent bit left on that estate.
