The city council expects us to roll over and accept these zoning changes without a fight. They are ignoring our neighborhood and pushing this ordinance through the pipeline while we watch our property rights disappear. We are not going anywhere until they scrap this disastrous proposal for good.

The City Commission clearly thought they could push this zoning nightmare through without anyone noticing. Our momentum is growing fast and it is proving them exactly wrong.

My wife and I bought our Pembroke Lakes home new in March 1974 We haven’t needed a HOA for all those years so why do we need one now?
Please do not enact this ordinance. It is unfair to the boat owners who want to have a boat on their property. Parking a boat off-site is an undue burden, particularly in view of the current epidemic.
No HOA. One of the main attractions to this neighborhood was that it was NOT an HOA. My wife and I have a family owned brokerage, and many of our clients who have purchased in our neighborhood ALL love that there is NO HOA.
I am petitioning for the permission to park personal watercraft and campers in front of my property because it is discrimination that the other side of Taft street is allowed to park theirs in front of their home. It also wrong to not allow commercial vehicles that are primary forms of transportation in front of our homes. The matter at hand really means a lot to me and my family.
This is selective enforcement and I'm sure if or when it gets challenged in court, the city will have to eliminate this. How is it just that I don't have to follow this and some of my other Pembroke pines neighbors will have to. Code compliance should be uniform for all the citizens of the city.

Please remove your name.. unlike the HOA I am not misleading you nor guiding you on my personal gain. I have walked and spoken to over 300 neighbors many feel our rights have been stripped away. We have the right to vote we are currently following city ordinance.. by the way these restrictions include not having a basketball hoop not satellite never revised from the 70s.
