We the undersigned oppose the proposed changes requested by McDowell housing partners for Ordinance 11-41 number PL20200001294. Specifically 1) removal of onsite food service, 2) removal of the requirement to provide group transportation and 3) the removal of the requirement to place EMS notification devices in each unit.
I spent the morning reading through the stories you shared about why these safety requirements are non-negotiable for your elderly family members. The silence from the planning office is frustrating but we are preparing our testimony to ensure these cuts to essential services do not slide through quietly.

Seeing this kind of momentum reminds me why I started this fight for my neighbor. I never imagined so many people would care about these safety protections as much as I do.

Keep the onsite care in place. This isn't the right place for low income apartments and we dont need more traffic.

I am opposed to any housing being built on this site. I am against low income housing and any structures above 2 stores being built on this site

Ridiculous to cut these services when people rely on them for basic safety. Leave the zoning alone!

The Hacienda Lakes site was zoned for senior housing which includes onsite food service, group transportation and emergency call systems for seniors. I am opposed to the proposed changes which are designed to permit low income housing.

I am opposed to ordinance 11-41 which will make it especially hard for residents to get the services they need just to make everything cheaper! We don’t need a “Shantytown” in East Naples! Keep onsite food service, transportation services, and EMS notification devices. This will attract seniors to the complex who need these services!
