The aim of this petition is to oppose the planned Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation centre on Clayton Road, Newcastle Under Lyme. By completing this petition you are supporting and showing your objections to the plans of turning Orchard House on Clayton Road, Newcastle Under Lyme into a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre. Staffordshire County Council have recently accepted an offer from The Burton Addiction Centre (BAC), Burton on Trent to use the current properties on the site for a Rehab and Therapy centre that will home people with Drug and Alcohol dependencies. This is a residential area with families and schools nearby. Absolutely not the right place for a facility like this. Keep our neighborhood safe.

Clayton road is way too busy for this. Has anyone thought about the traffic or the safety of the kids walking to school? Bad idea.

Ridiculous idea. We have worked hard to keep this area nice and property values will tank if this goes ahead. STOP IT.
