Due to a recent controversial post, beloved study hall teacher Miss Evans is in a career threatening position that many of us do not believe she deserves to be in. Miss Evans has been a part of the Olentangy Liberty community for years and is one of the most genuine, caring, loving staff members in the OLSD. If she has had a positive impact on you in any way (both as a student or a parent) please take a quick moment to sign this. I know that the Liberty community loves her, and right now she needs us to show the world just how true that is.
The stories you are leaving in the comments show exactly why Miss Evans is vital to our school. Send a direct email to the school board members today to tell them she deserves to stay in her classroom. Post the link to this petition on your Facebook timeline right now.

We are gaining momentum but we need to pass the 250 signature mark to force the board to address this. Post the link to your Facebook timeline right now and tag three neighbors who have worked with Miss Evans.

Miss Evans gave me unconditional love and support during my days at Liberty. I struggled in high school coming from a different school and I'm not sure I would of made it through without her. She was always wanting to help me in any way she could. Not that it matters, but I'm not white and was not born here in America.

Mrs. Evans is the most accepting, loving & caring teacher I have ever had. She showed up to my house to hand deliver me & my sibilinhs our graduation presents and showed up to our graduation parties. She puts everyone before herself and just because she has different opinions than some people do, she would never not help someone feel loved & cared for.

Although I do not agree with what Ms.Evans posted, I do not believe it warrants a dismissal. She has provided so much love and support to the school community. I hope that this is factored into any decisions made, as people are naturally imperfect; and when/if we shut them out, we fall to our own imperfections.

Ms. Evans was like the school therapist. She would sit and talk to you all period if you wanted. One of the absolute nicest staff members I ever met

Miss Evans made my freshman year study hall class so much fun and you can truly see she cares. She remembers little details about students and loves working for OLSD. She does not deserve any of this.

Everyone makes a mistake ... it’s how we learn . What kind of example are we showing our kids if we let someone go who they love and respect. Educated and grow her professionally ... do not fire her for this .

She is a very sweet lady and doesn’t harm anyone. She deserves the job more than anyone because she loves kids. I made her a photography project and she cried. She loves her job.

Ms. Evans has always been very supportive. And made sure to ask me everyday how cross country/my college search was going, she really cares!
