Many Lochies over the years have voiced their opinion on wanting easier access to the lake. Our biggest success in Adult and Children's socials is when we have offered free boat rides on the lake. Since there appears to be some opposition we think that it is prudent to measure the level of interest before asking the board for additional funding for the Boat Ramp area improvement project. The over-all plan will entail a multi-phase project, dependent on funding and board approval. 1st project would be to install a concrete ramp while the lake is low and improve the existing road with grading and gravel.. The Next phases are not listed by priority but would include the additions of a board walk and fishing deck, a picnic/viewing patio, boat storage, landscaping and possibly a small parking area.
