This petition supports the expansion and improvement of outdoor recreation amenities at Pinewood Reservoir. Improvements include redeveloping all tent and RV camp sites, extending the boat ramp, adding new parking and restrooms, building a natural "playscape" for children, completing a trail around the reservoir, and creating new day-use areas that include educational information about the area. The current camping and day use areas are insufficient for the demand and need attention. The Larimer County Department of Natural Resources is hoping to leverage its funding and apply for grants to help cover the costs of this project.
