I have been staring at the pier blueprints all morning while my coffee goes cold and honestly the drainage issues they keep citing seem like such an easy fix if they would just listen to us for five minutes. People keep sending me messages about how they used to fish off that end as kids and it makes me realize this is about way more than just concrete and permits.

We must continue this work. This is a much needed ramp for our Koolauloa community. We have no other besides Heeia Kea or Haleiwa, which is way out of our district. We've waited many years for this to be repaired and upgraded. Why??? It's unfair that we in the Koolauloa District always get thrown on the bottom of the list of things to do and get done. Why??? It's time we get priority and have it done.
This pier is used daily by our family and other fishermen, swimmers, surfers and many people who like the scenic beauty for pictures. The parking lot was in disrepair and unsuitable for use for far too many years. There is more work that needs to be done. What little was done is not enough.
I love kahana Bay and yes it could use more work but you still want to keep it country but yes more done lights work on break wall but I say keep it country too no over building

I am for it. The bathroom close to the boat ramp and walk way up to the bathroom needs to be improved with handicapped rails and steps. Mahalo!
