As members of the Lensbury, we have heard that we will not have access to the pool facilities for the months of April and May during the planned refurbishment.
The swimming pool is one of the main reasons we are members, especially for swimming lessons for our children.
While we appreciate the refurbishment work needs to be done and understand there'll never be a 'good' time to close the pool, our petition is about the fees we pay for those two months when we do not have access to these facilities.
Considering our membership fees allow us use of all facilities, if there is a reduction in facilities, it seems only fair to offer members a reduction in membership fees for the two months when the facilities are not available.
This option would be considered acceptable in addition to vouchers to swimming pools should someone wish to use them.
We look forward to hearing from you with a resolution to the issue.

The number of people supporting this request has grown significantly since the beginning. This level of consensus confirms that our expectation for fair membership pricing is widely shared.

I am one of many dismayed at the pool closure and, on a weekly basis, dismayed at how difficult it is to secure a space for aqua aer. Ever decreasing circles opportunity to avail of what I had hoped membership would bring!
The reason for joining the Lensbury and continued membership is the use of the pool and the steam. I would like to stop my membership whilst the pool is closed.
Swimming lessons are the main reason I am a member. Why not do this in the summer, when the lessons stop? My children are doing so well and I would hate to see their progress hampered. Perhaps you could consider doing it in the July/August instead and offering passes for Hampton Pool, in addition to a membership fee reduction?

Many of us joined lensbury so could avoid Teddington swimming pool changing rooms! I won't be able to get to isleworth to swim either. Lensbury pool features heavily in our weekly diary. To be unable to use these facilities for 2 months will hugely impact our usage of the lensbury as a whole...
Be fair to members - more options for kids
Actually I think Lensbury should provide a discount to compensate for the woeful state to which they have allowed the changing rooms to descend.
