Local 341 denied multiple members from being nominated for elected union offices citing bylaws that may of never been accepted by the IAFF and if they were accepted, were not updated on the union website over 1 1/2 years ago. Sign if you would like Local 341 to call a special meeting for the purpose of nominations and allow all members in good standing the opportunity to run.

I have spent the last few days digging through our bylaws and comparing them against the official records to confirm exactly where the disconnect lies. The feedback I am receiving from members shows I am not the only one frustrated by this lack of transparency and the exclusion of qualified candidates. We deserve clarity on how our own rules are applied and I am working to ensure those answers come to light.

Seeing this level of support confirms that so many of you feel the same deep frustration I have about how our nominations are being handled. This momentum proves that we refuse to let these questionable bylaws silence our right to run for office.
