This petition has been created with the purpose of deunionizing Nevada Gold Mine’s union properties. The Operating Engineers Local 3(OE3)has fallen short in their representation and provision of benefits for Nevada Gold Mines employees and we have the opportunity to enact change. Let your voice be heard by signing this petition to abolish NGM Union(OE3). The National Labor Relations Board requires 30%+ of all employees working on unionized properto be in favor in order to hold a decertification election. Please show your support and be the change.

Not once has the union been there for anyone in trouble that has made a difference. Paying members have the same benefits as non paying members with no extra benefits, like insurance. Totally useless. The fact that they say we need more membership without offering anything at all says they don’t have our interest. We are paying for all the non mining members benefits without receiving any for ourselves.
They do nothing! Only thing the fight for is shoe laces in the vending machine! That’s a joke!! They are bringing us down!
The union isn’t doing fair negotiations to deal with massive inflation and we are making less every year. By the end of 2028 Walmart and McDonalds will be paying more.
In my opinion the “live better, work union” slogan does not apply for us at all. Everyone who sighs up with the union has a packet of legal papers and bank information to sign. When an individual wants out. They are literally handed a blank notepad and a pen and told just write “you no longer want to be apart of local 3 then sign it yourself.” Wow what professionalism.
Every year it’s the same old story. Dues go up and my paycheck stays flat. Tired of paying for people who aren't even looking out for me.

They failed to get a 3rd and final write up handled about calling for not being fit for duty. They also didnt care that I was being attacked by a shifter on the crew.
