To the Labourers’ International Union of North America General Executive Board.
Whereas LiUNA Local 1089 had now been under supervision for over a year, the members have sat patiently waiting for answers. We have not had a meeting or any meaningful communication since March 2020.
We are all proud to be a part of LiUNA and want the division of the membership to stop.
We the undersigned members of LiUNA Local 1089 petition the LiUNA General Executive Board to call for a fair, honest and open Officers election for Local 1089.

im still getting messages from members who feel just as ignored as i do lately. the silence from leadership is frustrating but it just proves we were right to speak up like this.

we just hit a big milestone and it really shows the board that we are not going anywhere. seeing all these names together is just proof of how much we want our local back.

Been way to long. We pay our dues and deserve to know what the hell is being done with them. Time for new leadership.
Ridiculous that we are still under supervision. Just give us our local back already.
It's strange how members are to stick together and yet none of us know what is going on...no communication is a great sign of weakness its just a matter of time...sad that we have become this
Someone needs to tell us all what is happening. No information or no meeting in over a year. What the hell is going on?
I know the truth will come out but yes we all deserve answers and I am sure in due time we will have them.. All the best
