Final supporters
Aside from a great time, The Lazy Mon provides jobs to many local people while boosting the local and national economy with our purchases. When we are not providing jobs, great parties and more, The Lazy Mon sponsors children's programs at local schools, sponsors local surfers in competitions and supports various organizations and events throughout the town, year round. Simply put, The Lazy Mon is honored to be able to make a positive impact on the local community, a place we call home.
Unfortunately due to the baseless and petty complaints of this small and seemingly hostile group, local governments have had to take action and are threatening to take away our license to provide LIVE music and incredible parties. We simply won't allow this to happen. We are in the business to provide our guests and locals alike with a fantastic time from open to close and pride ourselves in being non stop fun and music 7 days a week. If you've ever been to The Lazy Mon, you know what were talking about! If you haven't had the chance yet, here is your opportunity to make sure you still can!

En las últimas semanas, The Lazy Mon ha sido blanco de un pequeño grupo de personas que desean dejar de nuestro negocio. Somos uno de los muchos de alta energía, amantes de la diversión y de la música en vivo lugares en Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, donde los turistas de todo el mundo gusta pasar su tiempo.
Aparte de un gran momento, The Lazy Mon da trabajo a mucha gente local mientras que impulsar la economía local y nacional con nuestras compras. Cuando no estamos ofreciendo puestos de trabajo, grandes fiestas y mucho más, los programas de The Lazy Mon patrocinadores de los niños en las escuelas locales, patrocinadores surfistas locales en competiciones y apoya diversas organizaciones y eventos en toda la ciudad, durante todo el año. En pocas palabras, The Lazy Mon tiene el honor de ser capaz de hacer un impacto positivo en la comunidad local, un lugar que llamamos hogar.
Desafortunadamente, debido a las denuncias infundadas y pequeños de este grupo pequeño y aparentemente hostil, los gobiernos locales han tenido que tomar medidas y amenazan con quitarnos la licencia para ofrecer música en vivo y fiestas increíbles. No Way! Lazy Mon is an integral part of the spirit of Puerto Viejo, take away the music, you take away the soul. This is El Caribe, a place where people come especially to connect to life and all that if offers. this would be criminal, everyone who comes to PUERTO heads for this place.
Lazy Mon, previously Stanford, has provided live music since Puerto began - new musicians cut their teeth, itinerant musicians come to jam, and young and old, children and dogs, come to dance, enjoy and meet - who is to take this away from the community?
The Lazy Mon is the best live music venue in Puerto Viejo. Shutting down their live music will hurt Puerto Viejo. Why single out the Lazy Mon - there are many other establishments that play music much louder and cause great disturbances. This is not fair!
este lugar no solamente da a la gente un lugar seguro para salir y gozar, pero tambien devuelve de la buena a la communidad! this place not only provides a safe place locals and tourists to enjoy themselves but also puts back into the community!
I'd like to see the reasons for such a baseless claim. A commercial business clearly within a commercial area providing the best combination of reasonably priced food & drinks in a vacation atmosphere. Something really smells.

I was here for a few days on the end of a Costa Rica trip and it was absolutely amazing! After heading to Panama for a few days, I returned again to relax, get a few more shows from Jessy Chick (who is amazing!) and head home! My trip wouldn't have been the same without this place and its music!
