We the undersigned petition the Lower Macungie Board of Commissioners refrain from subdividing the house, barn and driveway of the Kratzer Farm until an analysis of the costs and benefits of preserving the entire 86 acre property are presented to the public and the results of the Parks & Recreation comprehensive plan determines whether the house, barn and driveway are or are not needed to promote the goal of a centralized public passive park, linear greenway and wildlife sanctuary. Also we strongly encourage the township to commit to preserving forever the open space and agricultural portions of the 86 acre property using a permanent preservation mechanism.
