We petition our elected representatives including Senator Robert Casey, Senator Patrick Toomey, Representative Charles Dent, State Representative Jerry Knowles, State Senator David Argall, and the Berks County Commissioners to re-open Kaercher Creek Park.
As the taxpayer investment in the park is slowly reclaimed by the wilderness, much more damage is done to the Hamburg community than the cost of maintaining the park. Kaercher Creek Park has been a Berks County gem for over 40 years. Please recognize the greater value of Kaercher Creek Park as something that must be preserved for future generations.

It such a shame to see the condition the park it is. Have so many fond memories with my boys there. Please give the kids this wonderful Park back
the park was a place to get away, i run there often. it is becoming an urban dump
This place used to be so nice for weekend cookouts. Now its just weeds and trash. Such a wasted space for the community.
spent every summer here as a kid. cant believe they let it get so run down. fix it up!
Please re-open the park! It's a fabulous place to play, relax, read, exercise and picnic! We actually moved from the Lehigh Valley because of Kaercher. We live in close proximity to the park and truly miss it .
Grew up going here to picnic and fish. wish the same for my children as well.
I have had many family events at this park and hoped to have many more.

It is a shame to see our environment take a backseat if they do not want the park give it to me to start a nonprofit park with all funds being allocated to clean up.
