We are opposed to the large scale industrial wind farm proposed for our county and the midlands. Please sign this petition before Wednesday 3rd July and we can submit our objections and opposition to the Maighne wind farm project to An Bord Planala.
Height of turbines, overnight loss of value of our homes, Infrasound, health effects, bad functioning technology, subsidy based. Many reasons to oppose this initial 47 turbine wind farm and no reason to support it.

Kildare is at a Phase1 stage with Element Power Ltd plans. Bord na Mona are ready to make their own submissions to darken our county in shadow flicker if this first one is successful.

The feedback I keep hearing from you all confirms that these turbines will change our lives in ways we cannot ignore. I am exhausted by the constant research and correspondence required to fight this application but your persistent encouragement keeps me going.

I'll take my name off this petition when the top people in Element Power apply for permission to build a wind farm within 500m of their houses.
Why should a few make money at our communities expense. There is legitimate health and financial implications for anyone living near these 186m tall monsters. Don't waste tax payers money lining the pockets of the already rich when there is no agreed interconnector to feed power to UK. Why should our countryside be destroyed for the UK power supply?
Please don't let this go ahead it will affect my children's health and the value of our home and noise in our home to we will only be 1.2km away from them
I have horses in the area and will not be able to use them on the country roads with those monstrosities around!! It will ruin the whole area!!!
I am the parent of two young children with austim and strong object to this development because of the devastating effects it will have on their health and development.

Too many reasons for objection to list. Kildare County Council only allowed me to build a house at a storey and a half.... And these bad boys will be 169m!!!!
