In the Arab world, readers still appreciate the paper documents. As the internet connectivity is not that super in some areas of the Arab world, there is still a need to the paper documents. so please keep the infoshop fpr the benefits of my people.
I love this bookshop - it is close to GW and carries books that are not available in other book stores. I have purchased music, dictionaries and international research materials here. The variety of perspectives has enriched my thinking. Please reconsider.
Very disappointed to hear that this business which benefits many will be turned into office space to serve a few. It has been an invaluable resource for professional and personal reading since I moved to DC 5 years ago. Thank you to the Info Shop staff.
How can the Word Bank, who promotes and fights for education and culture for all, who supports Malala's fight to bring education to all children, can close the very place where education and culture stems from: a bookstore. It just does not make sense.
If the World Bank is really a Knowledge Bank, it needs a prominent location for people to access that knowledge. If cost is an issue, I could suggest a few people of dubious competence who could be let go with a positive impact on the bottom line.
Loved this store when I worked for GW. Had all sorts of awesome finds and great gifts.

The shop is a huge asset to the informed public and the only way to connect to many publications on a number of important, interesting and sometimes obscure topics. When I come to DC, I purposely book a hotel near this shop! Please keep it open.
