Everywhere you look in Parker, there are new apartment complexes being built. This development crowds the charm out of MainStreet, blocks our views, and result in more traffic to already congested streets. We have enough apartments already. Send a message to the Parker Town Council that enough is enough, by adding your name to this petition so that they know you don't want apartment complexes to define the character of our town.

The petition reached 100 signatures today. I am compiling these names into a formal briefing document to present to the Town Council during the next planning commission session.

The scale of this response is compelling evidence that the current pace of development is a primary concern for our residents. I have initiated contact with the town planning department to secure a formal meeting regarding these zoning concerns.

The complex you are allowing on Victorian Drive, across from O'Brien Park is a joke! Where the hell will those residents and their guest park? Beyond time to adjust the infrastructure and growth plan for Parker!

My primary concerns are with the density of this project & if we really need more apartments in Parker? As a homeowner for 10+ years, I would like to see more retail/restaurants that will serve the existing residents..

My dad helped plan new Parker in 1980's, along with Ed Heidinger and Dean Salisbury at Village Inn over breakfast. Don't let Parker get screwed anymore than it is now. It was meant to be an "oasis" not a metroplex.

The influx of high density housing in Parker is ridiculous. This apartment complex isn't grouped next to other apartments, it's backed next to single family houses, which will reduce their property value. Enough is enough.

I love Parker and the small town feel it has. Not opposed to growth, but opposed to too much growth! Let's keep open space and not think we have to build something on all open land! We do not need to become another Highlands Ranch!

I am a 12 year resident of Parker and I support the movement against more apartment complexes. Parker is losing the charm and benefits that first attracted me. We need leadership on town Council to manage our growth responsibly.

I am new to this area and purchased a house assuming the town government worked for the good of the population I understand now that multifamily housing is a 'commercial' use so the town wants those buildings because they think they will increase the tax revenue. Who ever heard of a government getting all its taxes from local SALES TAXES. So the more the people, the greater the taxes, they think. Please let me another place in this country would ever work this way or at least after a 10 year recession would continue to work this way. GET INVOLVED IN YOUR TOWN GOVERNMENT, folks. This can only get worse.
