We call upon the Iroquois Central School Board of Education to present one unified Capital Improvement Project to the public for the October 2020 vote. We, the undersigned, are in favor of a synthetic all-weather playing surface as an integral part of a new multipurpose field to be constructed across from Iroquois High School. The entire Capital Improvement Project should be submitted as a whole, and the synthetic all-weather playing surface should be included, and not separated into a second proposition.
The community is excited about this opportunity and supports this Capital Improvement Project to provide a level playing field for all of our students for years to come. The residents should know that there will be no tax increases with this project.
Currently, the field in question is both dilapidated and not used to its full potential. The goal of this Capital Improvement Project would be for this synthetic all-weather field to be utilized by all sports, physical education classes, and the community as a whole.

This is very important and I pray it comes to be. My son is starting this new season and with the weather here in Buffalo this is a necessity!
Artificial turf will safe money in long run. No water, painting strips, cutting grass, fuel, materials and the labor to maintain said grass. It can also be used for other sports.
Every student in the district participates in physical education, K-12. What a amazing opportunity for all Iroquois students to benefit from a turf field complex.
My five children graduated from Iroquois and played sports on grass until it came time for playoff games which were on all-weather turf. This was a disadvantage for them when they really needed to be on the same playing field as their opponents who played on turf all the time...
I have been a resident in the school district since 1978. My three kids went to Iroquois & all graduated from there. I would like to see the turf upgraded so that's the kids that are playing sports do so on a safe field.

As an Elma resident with grandchildren I am in full support of this project not only for them, but for all of the children in our community.

As a parent and Coach, I feel this would be a tremendous advantage to the students that are, and will be attending our school. It’s time to give our student athletes the ability to compete against other area schools. As it is our training facilities are a poor example for schools here in the 21st century
