Petition for Synthetic All-Weather Playing Surface

As an Elma resident with grandchildren I am in full support of this project not only for them, but for all of the children in our community.

Each time this has been brought to a vote, it has been voted down. I still am not in favor of this proposal.

I am in support of the Capital Improvement Project with the all-weather playing surface included as long as the complex can be utilized for all sports, Phys Ed classes, and other school events.

As a parent and Coach, I feel this would be a tremendous advantage to the students that are, and will be attending our school. It’s time to give our student athletes the ability to compete against other area schools. As it is our training facilities are a poor example for schools here in the 21st century

Full support. All 5 of our kids have graduated and we support this all improvements to our schools or community. We have been pushing this for over 7 years for new fields and the attitude of our board hasn't changed, poor leadership! Disappointing.

I ask the board members to do what’s best for the students, school and community and back a turf/synthetic complex. Grass does not work in this region and causes games to be postponed or moved to other schools. It is not a luxury. So many colleges and high schools have followed the transition to turf fields. Time to move the district forward and provide the proper facilities for all of our community.

Lets come together in unity as a community and support our students , athletes in a positive way...

Iroquois is far behind other districts in our athletic fields. Academics is always 1st but without athletics many athletes would lose interest in school work. They are symbiotic. Citizens must be given FULL information to decide. They need to realize its a 'pay me now or pay me later' situation. AND...its not that much$$$. Lets get with it Iroquois and put in new fields.

I agree, Iroquois needs this!

If the board presents one unified proposal it is crucial that the correct information is circulated either in writing or at meetings, senior centers and town meetings how important this proposal is (not just social media) and that it will not raise taxes. If this is not done correctly I fear it will be defeated. I pray that it doesn't. It is very important to our district and community.

Fully support a new field for our student. Our present one is unsafe & embarrassing. We are one of the best school districts with the worst sports field!

We need a new, modern sports field. Our field is disgraceful. We are one of a few school districts that haven't updated our field. Plus all students could use & benefit using it!

Full support for this!!!! Keep me engaged for anything I can do to support further!!!

This is very important and I pray it comes to be. My son is starting this new season and with the weather here in Buffalo this is a necessity!

This should not be even a question - it should be turf so our kids are not disadvantaged!!

This field is a must for our students and community.

I would like to see better sports facilities for my children and future students at Iroquois.
