I am in support of the bridle path and horse park on B.L.M. Land. South of the Union Pacific RR at Pleasant Valley Road. It will be away from the motor vehicle traffic.
The feedback regarding the need for a safe space away from motor vehicle traffic has been consistent and clear. I am currently coordinating with local land use representatives to discuss how this proposed bridle path aligns with regional recreational goals.
March 2, 2016
The response to the proposal for a dedicated bridle path and horse park on this parcel of land has been truly significant. This momentum demonstrates a clear public appetite for quiet, equestrian-focused recreation away from congested motor vehicle routes.

I support this petition and agree that it is something that could definitely benefit equestrian riders while keeping B.L.M. intact with little disturbance to the natural site.

I would like to see more information on this before I will sign. This area is used by people target practicing and dirt bike riders. Are they going to still be able to use this area too? Plus the military practices maneuvers with tanks and other equipment a little further out. They drive the tanks out Pleasant Valley Road to get there. There are also lots of badgers and ground squirrels in the area so the ground is full of holes. Not my favorite type of area to ride.

Horse community desperately needs more places to ride. Horses are not even safe on the side of the road to travel to a place to ride. Vehicles have NO respect for horses and riders.

A horse park in that area would be very nice!! Another option for horse lovers to meet and ride.

Very good use of public land! The horse community has very few places to ride. We are run off irrigation ditch banks and harassed by farmers. And now it's been posted that we may lose the Eagle foothills!! We need this!!
