We, the undersigned, feel it would be in the best interest of everyone in the off-road riding community for the Bureau of Land Management to keep and relocate the ORV course at Orman Dam Reservoir to the section of unused land north of hwy 212 across from Fruitdale turn off. First and foremost, this relocation would create easier access for emergency purposes if needed. It would keep riders away from the restricted wildlife management areas and congregate the people who ride ORV at Orman dam for easier management. There is also a higher volume of traffic through the current location including pickups creating deep ruts and tearing up the track. Moving the ORV would eliminate these situations, creating safe riding for all ages on a track that is approved by the BLM

We have already lost the Belle Fourche motocross track and we ask the ORV track doesn't get shut down as well.

The increase in public interest regarding the relocation of the ORV course confirms that our community values the preservation of these riding spaces. This momentum serves as a clear indication that we must continue to advocate for a solution that prioritizes safety and proper land management.

Not all kids are stick and ball athletes. Places like the Belle Fourche ORV area are where many of our friends and family grew up learning to ride, and now we take our kids there.

The Belle Fourche track always let the BLM use our track for training sessions, now you can return the favor and keep the Orman area open! Thanks!

I have a 7 year old that is learning how to ride more competitively and it seems there are less and more less tracks to train on I would love to see there be a new one so that there will be a better and safer place to take him

Belle NEEDS a track to ride. Real bummer when we have to travel 45 minutes to ride. Especially for us who work later in the day...somedays we feel like a quick rip on the bikes for couple hours.

Part of the camping experience that makes Orman so enjoyable is being able to ride my dirtbike from camp to an enjoyable place to bond with others.

This is important in order to keep off roaders out if restricted areas and causing trouble to try and go places to ride. Providing a safe place keeps the sport fun and safe for everyone.

I agree completely with this petition. Look at any big city where they have motorcycles and atvs in the masses running the streets, alluding police and disrupting peace of the public. If the Orman dam ORV course gets shut down, I could only imagine what the city would look like.
