On July 10th 2009 4 year old child was nearly struck by a speeding driver on Hawley ave. between Usher St.and Dunbar Rd. in the town of Milford Ct. This has become a common problem on this street. I wish to have a stop sign(s) installed on Hawley Ave. In the town of Milford Ct. I feel that drivers exceed the posted speed limit often on this street and it has become a danger to local residents, pedestrians, and other drivers.

I really never expected this many people to pay attention to a street sign problem but honestly it feels like the town might actually have to listen to us now. It makes me think back to when I started this feeling like I was just shouting into the void about the traffic and now look at where we are.

RIDICULOUS how fast people drive through here. my kids play outside and I am constantly worried. wake up Milford!

people fly down this street all the time its only a matter of time before someone actually gets hurt. put the signs up already.
