I am starting this petition in the attempt to get a "SLOW DOWN: CHILDREN AT PLAY" sign put on the 40 block of Third Avenue in Scottdale Pa to make drivers more aware of there speed. In the past year we have had more children move into the neighborhood. They enjoy playing ball and riding their bicycles, and are pretty good at getting off the road when a vehicle is coming. I have recently noticed that even though they see the children, drivers still don't slow down. Myself and some other parents would like the Scottdale Borough to put a sign on our street in hopes it will make drives more aware of the speed they are going and of the children that may be outside playing!
