Each year ground rents increase by far more than inflation or the RPI without any material extra benefits for holiday home owners. This year the RPI has increased by 1% but some have seen rent increases of 7%.
These increases can be formally challenged if 51% of owners complain..
This petition is your chance to register if you are unhappy about the increases and hopefully do something about
The response to the petition has hit the threshold required to initiate a formal challenge against the rent hikes. I am currently drafting the official correspondence to the management team to trigger the dispute process. Expect an update once I confirm the submission of these documents.

Mis selling at its finest. Told when purchasing that yearly increases are in line with inflation, £60-70 maximum. They have risen £670 in the last 3 years

The price rises have been way too high over the last few years and yet haven do not put similar prices for holidays. They want owners to leave after a few years and this is one way to make it happen. It is their way of doing it. Miss sell caravans, make promises they don't keep, owners leave then sucker someone else in.

Over £500 raise in two seasons , people cannot afford to carry on, especially when people who bought this year were told by 2 members of sales staff that it never goes up more than £100 !

Above inflation rate increases in ground rent has become unaffordable. Owners appear to be keeping Haven sites afloat!

Not happy about the increase in ground rent. It far exceeds inflation and there have been few material benefits for the average owner.
With so many additional pitches and owners on site there should no legitimate need to increase ground rents. Higher rents just boost profits because Bourne Leisure can get away with it.

Whilst the site fees increase by several hundred £'s per year, there is never a itemised bill which reflects the reason for increase. There is never a breakdown of the billing subsequently as a result, customers may be charged whatever Bourne Leisure chooses. No other service or provider would expect their customer to pay an invoice without this basic information. Haven owners are being taken for a ride!
